"The Geology of the Lake Pleasant area"

This event is Open to the public.  Please Register so we and the restaurant will know how many to expect.

Cody Conter, an Interpretive Ranger at the Lake Pleasant Regional Park, will enlighten us with some of the more fascinating aspects of the geology surrounding the Lake Pleasant area, with a special emphasis on the area's mining and archeological history.

 About the Interpretive Ranger

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cody Conter graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Geological Sciences.  He moved to Arizona in pursuit of the endless outdoor opportunities that this beautiful state has to offer. Cody enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, and kayaking and has worked in the recreation industry on rivers and lakes since he was a teenager.
