"Arizona Weather: What drives it?"
This event is Open to the public. Please Register so we and the restaurant will know how many to expect.
Join us tonight for Nancy J. Selover, Ph.D., the State Climatologist for Arizona since 2007, to explain the factors that influence our weather in Arizona, including temperature, humidity, wind, and precipitation. Since we have a desert climate, aren’t we always in a drought? What do we expect in the next 10-20 years? Dr. Selover will have some data from the Lake Pleasant area to discuss specific conditions there, including wind – since it’s significant for sailing.
